Northern Ireland's Leah McCourt beats Judith Ruis at Bellator Dublin
Northern Ireland's Leah McCourt has created history after she won against Judith Ruis by a unanimous decision at Bellator Dublin.
The bout was the first women's non-title fight to headline a Bellator card where McCourt recorded 29-28 29-28 30-27 against the German featherweight.
The 27 year-old earned her fourth successive win and has remained unbeaten since her professional debut in 2017.
The current featherweight champion Cris Cyborg congratulated McCourt on her win and said: "I love seeing a female non-title fight at 145lbs headline @BellatorMMA #BellatorDublin congratulations @leahmccourtmma"
