Aussie cricketer Molly Strano 'steals' Katy Perry's show boots at World Cup celebration party

Molly Strano came into the T20 World Cup as a last-minute replacement for injured bowler Tayla Vlaeminck and walked away with a pair of boots she claimed to have stolen from headline performer Katy Perry.

The 27-year-old all-rounder joined her team and global superstar Perry on stage after their historic World Cup victory over India and was pictured a day later rocking a white pair of heeled boots.

The Aussie team were on a victory parade in Melbourne on Monday, meeting fans and sharing their celebrations and Strano was proudly displaying her new kicks, claiming they were stolen from Katy Perry.

She later admitted she had got the boots from one of Perry's back-up dancers but was boosting her story and telling people they belonged to the singer.

However, it was not all plain sailing for the cricket star, who confessed that the shoes were actually too small and she was going to struggle to walk when she finally took them off.
