Pakistan's captain Bismah Maroof has been ruled out for the rest of the T20 World Cup due to a thumb injury.

Maroof fractured her thumb in her side's match against England yesterday.

She sustained the injury after attempting to catch Katherine Brunt's hit.

Nahida Khan will come into the squad to replace Maroof and Javeria Khan will take over captaincy duties.

Pakistan's next match is against South Africa in Sydney on Sunday.
