Amazon Prime have announced they are making all four of their Premier League games free-to-air.

It now means 33 of the 92 remaining top flight fixtures will be free for viewers to watch when the season resumes on June 17.

BBC have been given broadcasting rights to four Premier League matches for the first time in the competition’s history.

And Sky have also confirmed 25 of their 64 matches will be made free-to-air as organisers aim to cram a packed schedule into a summer of non-stop football.

Alex Green, managing director of Prime Video Sport Europe, said: "Like the rest of the country, we are excited to see the Premier League return to action.

"We will be making all four of Amazon Prime Video's additional fixtures in the 2019-20 season available free of charge; fans will not need a Prime membership to view the games on Prime Video."

The Premier League are hoping to finish the season by the first weekend of August, with the FA Cup final pencilled in for August 1.

Liverpool need just two victories to secure their first top flight title in 30 years.

And their first match since the coronavirus pandemic will be shown on free-to-air TV as they resume their season with a Merseyside derby against Everton.
