Women's Super League Manchester derby brought forward and will be televised

The Manchester derby in the Women's Super League has been brought forward to March 28 and will now be shown live on TV.

The match will kick off at 3pm at the Leigh Sports Village and will be televised on BT Sport.

It will be the fourth time the teams have clashed this season, with City having won two of them.

The Blues took the win at the Etihad Stadium in September in a 1-0 victory, before United enacted revenge in the Continental League Cup group stage as they beat City 2-0.

However, Steph Houghton then captained the side to a 3-2 win in the Women's Super League in January.

The fixture will be the first Manchester derby that Alan Mahon will be in charge for after former manager Nick Cushing departed the club earlier this month.
