South Korea's Kim Sei-young carded a five-under 62 on day two at the LPGA's season-ending Tour Championship and starts the weekend with a two-shot lead at Tiburon Golf Club.

The 26-year-old made six birdies and one bogey to move to 12 under and stay in contention for the the $1.5 million winner’s cheque and her 10th LPGA title.

Speaking of her performance so far Kim Sei-young described it as “Very consistent".

“I didn’t miss a fairway today ... I try to focus on ball striking well,” she added.

Hot on her heels is Germany's Caroline Masson who shot up the leaderboard with a round of 66 to leave her two shots off the lead at 10 under.

Despite an impressive opening day, Britain's Georgia Hall carded a 71 and dropped down the places, now sitting six shots off the lead in a tied ninth position alongside compatriot Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who shot an impressive seven-under 65.
