Kate debuts sunshine yellow jacket during visit to Bath

16 May 2023

The Princess of Wales chose a bright yellow LK Bennett blazer to match the sunny weather during a trip to Bath.

Visiting the Percy Community Centre, Kate teamed the tailored jacket with a casual white ribbed top and trousers, completing the look with her trusty Veja trainers.

The 41-year-old met Dame Kelly Holmes and spent time with some of the young people supported by the former professional athlete’s youth development charity.

Part of the LK Bennett spring collection, the Mya Yellow Tailored Jacket retails at £359 and is still available to buy online in most sizes.

The matching Mya Yellow Tailored Trousers, £229, are also available for purchase.

Kate often chooses a bold blazer while on royal duty – perhaps inspired by the late Queen, who was said to wear bright colours so she was more visible when making public appearances.

The mum of three was spotted in a red tweed double-breasted Zara blazer twice last year, including during a visit to Copenhagen.

In October last year she showed her support for sustainable fashion in a vintage Chanel blazer.

Kate styled the form-fitting royal blue jacket with black wide-leg trousers and high heels.

The previous year, the Princess chose a stylish pink jacket from French fashion label Chloe for a visit to the Natural History Museum.

Part of a laid-back ensemble, she teamed the single-breasted blazer with a simple white tee, blue jeans and Veja trainers.

Fashion icon Kate has proved she’s a pro when it comes to tailoring, whether for formal or casual events.

Now that warmer weather is here, we can expect to see her in brighter hues while out and about.
