British designer launches eco-friendly bespoke swimwear brand aimed at highlighting dangers faced by sea turtles

A British designer has launched an eco-friendly swimwear brand that uses its designs to highlight the plight of sea turtles.

1st Man 1st Woman aims to blend fashion and art with environmental issues using eco-friendly materials and designs that highlight the negative impact climate change and pollution are having on the animal's habitat.

As part of Natwest's Back Her Business Initiative, designer Sandra Palmer has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support her brand.

1st Man 1st Woman will donate a proportion of the pledges as well as 1% of online sale profits to Oceans UK, a charity which seeks to use education, science, and sustainability programmes in a bid to solve the environmental issue of plastic waste.
