Britain's Katie Boulter beats Anna Blinkova to reach third round of Indian Wells Challenger
Great Britain's Katie Boulter booked her spot in the third round of the Indian Wells Challenger after shocking Anna Blinkova in California.
The 23-year-old won 6-4 3-6 6-3 against the world No. 54, the first time the Briton has won against a player in the top 100 since she defeated world No. 85 Bernarda Pera in February 2019.
The former British number two was then out for sixth months after she suffered a stress fracture in her back, which saw her drop to No. 396 in the world rankings.
But she is now on the comeback trail and continues her revival against Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko in the third round this evening.
