Hove and Lord's revealed as venues for finals days for inaugural season of women's and men's Hundred competition

Hove and Lord's have been chosen as the host grounds for the finals days of the women's and men's inaugural Hundred competitions.

The two finals will take place over the weekend of August 14-15. The women will play at Sussex's 1st Central County Ground, Hove on the Saturday while the men will be at Lord's on the Sunday.

Each finals day will also feature the semi-final play-off between the teams that finished second and third in the league before the final against the first-placed team from the league.

Managing director of The Hundred Sanjay Patel said: "We're delighted to award the first finals of The Hundred to Lord's and Hove - two grounds with a great history of staging showcase events in men's and women's cricket."

The women's competition gets underway on July 22 with Birmingham Phoenix hosting the Manchester Originals at Blackfinch New Road, while the men will start at The Oval on July 17 where The Oval Invincibles will take on Welsh Fire.
